Snow Scenes For Extreme Makeover with Ty Pennington and Mariah Carey

On December 12 at 8PM Ty Pennington and ABC's Extreme Makeover welcomed a deserving Gaston Family home with a huge Christmas present.  The present was a brand new home and the deed to the lot it was built on.  In less than one week the amazing home was constructed from the ground up and to top it all off, they had a snowy Christmas reveal with Mariah Carey.  This amazing snow scene was constructed by Atlanta Special FX in less than 1 hour.  Once the Gaston family was taken inside by Ty Pennington, the staff and volunteers with Atlanta Special FX went to work installing over 3500 square feet of non evaporative snow ground cover, evaporative snow flocking, fake icicles and 4 high output evaporating snow machines.  The Gaston's were then brought outside to see their winter wonderland.  Atlanta Special FX also provided the snow for the opening scene to appear as snow had accumulated on the windows and mirrors of the traveling bus.  To watch the full episode click http://abc.go.com/watch/extreme-makeover-home-edition/SH559052/VD55102082/gaston-family
