Who would have guessed on a 90 degree later summer day in September that snow...that's right snow... would cover the ground at this beautiful Buckhead estate in Atlanta Georgia? It is awe inspiring, to say the least, to watch a private estate transform into a winter wonderland in a matter of minutes. From the word go, strategically placed artificial snow was used to cover the roof line, shrubs, and concrete courtyard and covert a humid, overcast day into a chilling vista of crisp winter snow. This special effect was provided by the world leader in aritificial, evaporating snow and a local FX company, Atlanta Special FX. To achieve this effect a revolutionary snow machine the "Snow Flocker" which uses a patented formulation to produce a foam that evaporates for easy cleanup, was sprayed from a special lift. We also used a combination of Magic Snow and fake snow blankets, along with our artificial snow machines to produce an effect that suspends reality.
